Off to a great start!

Bridget and I had a fabulous first month of sales at Jackson Vintage Village!! Thanks to all who liked, commented and shared our post and Facebook page. We ❤ YOU!

Today we’d like to take a moment to recognize a talented fellow vendor: Jeff Matherne. He paints rustic Louisiana scenes and symbols on reclaimed wood and other materials. We are very proud to be associated with so many talented folks. Geaux Jeff!

We’re Open for Business

Saturday, June 6th, was our first official day of business. Bridget and I (well, mostly Bridget) put the final touches on our space. She added a beautiful painted bench, a painted trunk, two lovely bird houses, and many other gorgeous pieces that will add charm and sophistication to any decor.

My bright idea for the day was to set out chocolates to entice buyers into our booth. Rookie mistake. There is no air conditioning in the building, so the candy melted pretty quickly. Oh, well. Hard candy is on the grocery list. B has many other ideas for drawing people to our booth, and has put much more thought into the process. Geaux B!

Hope to see you soon.
